On November 2, 1998, ShooterSolutions was informed in writing of interest to nominate "Molybdenum Fusion" (Moly Fusion™: an editor, having read over the sight of MolyFusion.com, (new in 1998), understood MolyFusion was new technology and the metal in it is Molybdenum, not Moly Di-Sulfide) for the Prestigious 1999 Discovery Magazine Awards for Technological Innovation!
One of a relatively small number of products selected by the editorial panel for inclusion. A quick technical response is a click away from this page, which was submitted November 13, 1998, to the delight of Discover Magazine: another entry to look over. Being nominated by Discover Magazine itself, I was assured, was a huge deal, putting it in an elite group of innovations for 1999.
It competed with process inventions, like diamond-like coatings.
What makes MolyFusion&trade novel, is as powerful as it is, the average person can grab some, and with directions achieve benefit in the right areas. (Naturally a professional can always get better results, but as a kit, one has very little investment to lose - the power is self-contained).
I hoped this would be appreciated, and promptly advertised for a while the "MolyFusion™" for some months in Popular Science. Perhaps again soon. On the left is a photograph of the letter. More information to be added.
Many results, like the copper foundry results, recent shooting results, and some of the technical data available then could not get to the appropriate editor in time. It had a serious chance to win, though, for on the merits of simplicity (brilliance) it was the hands down winner. (What could be more simple than apply this "salve" onto a metal, and "presto!" Governments have taken notice to this technology, putting the "way back" cap on.
