Shot-Gun Mid-Caliber

This is .563" narrow by .750" (6 8ths) wide, 1" long.

(Next size up from the super bore)

Keep in mind the plug must be enough larger than the hole diameter so it both fits tight enough so it won't "pop out" due to expanding (due to Parkerizing fluid) air and also to be able to remove easily (Material sufficient to "grab and pull out")

This is high-durability, wide temperature Silicone that tapers to fit from 20 Gauge Shotgun through 12 Gauge Shotgun (Or for Musket, etc. .58 Caliber through .72 Caliber Shotgun or 12 AWG for some choked muzzles.)

For .410 Gauge Shotgun, you need large-bore handgun-rifle (It's a rifle/handgun-sized round.)

For 12 Gauge Shotgun, you need the larger-caliber Shotgun to fit chambers and some tubes. It is 10 Gauge in dimension, 12 gauge in purpose. But measure for yourself.

There are short carbine rifles with gas ports of .60 (M4A1 I believe) to .70" believe it or not. (The newest CQBR - Close Quarters Battle Rifle has an advertised gas port opened up from .60" to .70" due to shorter barrel.)

Temperature range is from 0 degrees F to 600 degrees F (316 C)

At 1.00 inch long, it is short enough to save you some money: since this material is very expensive.

Each of these plugs will survive many uses in this solution - or for preventing cold, warm or hot bluing from penetrating - one advantage of Silicone.
